Ian Bomberg

Ian is a Research Associate at American Progress. His work focuses on managing economic development projects in the Middle East, including the Palestinian Political Risk Insurance program. He previously co-managed the publication of the weekly Middle East Bulletin email newsletter. Before joining American Progress he worked as a research assistant at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies in Israel where he assisted in the publication of the book, Israel’s National Security: 1973-2006. He also served as a former intern for then Congressman Mark Kirk (R-IL) and volunteered as an English teacher in Thailand. Ian graduated from Tufts University with a dual degree in political science and history.
