The Syrian-Iraqi joint committee on agriculture discussed mechanism of strengthening cooperation. Syrian minister of agriculture and agrarian reform Adel Safar and Iraqi minister of agriculture Acram Hakeem stressed the importance of developing this cooperation, especially on water investment, research, animal health, and combating pests and pet and animal diseases.
