Peres Suggests ‘Immediate Peace’ with Lebanon

Israeli President Shimon Peres has blasted Iran for supporting Hezbollah and Hamas and reached out to Lebanon, suggesting "immediate peace" with it. …

"Iranian support for Hizbollah divided Lebanon. Its support for Hamas split the Palestinians and postpones the establishment of the Palestinian state," he said. … "We suggest immediate peace with Lebanon," Peres said.
