Israel will launch a PR campaign to coincide with this week’s visit by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Rome where he will take part in a world food summit organized by the Rome-based United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. …

[Ambassador Gideon] Meier expressed confidence that Premier Silvio Berlusconi would not acknowledge the Iranian’s visit. "Italy has a clear position supporting the UN resolutions on Iran," Meier was quoted as saying. Italy’s foreign minister has said a meeting with Berlusconi is unlikely.
